I can't wait for GOW2

Likewise the first GOW was one of my first games, along with oblivion and fight night round 3.

GOW was the one I played most, but I also finished it in a short space of time. Don't think it was 3 days though, more like a week.

It's still awesome on live, even today.

I put a post on our addictedtoxbox.com (facebook) group the other day with a quote from Cliff Bleszinski from Epic Games.  Apparently GOW1 was just an appetizer and GOW2 is going to be bigger, better and far more bad-ass than the first game in every way.

lets hope so.
some games which hav so much potential jus seem to get worse when they release a sequal. theyve already got the game play and graphic spot on, jsut need the game to be longer. wonder what the storyline behine GOW2 is going to be?

I think Halo is one of those games in that pool right now.  The first game was amazing, 2 & 3 are just the same as the first which has not impressed me at all.  Halo Wars however looks amazing.  The video on the homepage makes it look very appealing to me.

see i luvved halo 3, but maybe thats because id never played the 1st two, i wasnt taken in by all the hype either - but i still got the game and did really like it, but maybe like GTA4 the game hadnt developed much other than better graphics. I suppose if id played gta4 having never played the earlier versions i would have been blown away by it.

Here's something for you to look at:
http://gearsofwar.xbox.com/GOW2/TheGame.htm#/timeline/ImulsionDiscovered

I think this will give you an idea of what to expect in regards to storylines for GOW2.  From the official GOW site.

I think it looks like thay have gone about it the right way, they have not tried to change the engine too much or the type of play. They have just added extra weapons and new scenes and charachters to the fold. Some might say it not elavating the title but i say whats to elevate. The online play has some new modes and more players which woulda been my only gripe.
Lets hope they dont do a holo2 style plot

Got this game for crimbo and what can I say, it's pretty much the only game I've played since.

Every bit as good as the first. Sure some may say it's more of the same but is that a bad thing?

I love the new online modes too.

This game is awesome.  In my opinion it kicks COD WAW ass.
The single player game is v.good.  Co-op is better.  Online is even better.

Hoarde online is F**king unbelievable!

I think its about time we got together again on friday or saturday night and open a can of whoopass on hoarde again.  We have to get past wave 18 this time.

You will be able to jump straight in and play hoarde with us Scoob. It's basically a co-op against wave after wave of locust.

It's awesome

I think we did bloody well to get to wave 18 with just 4 players.
Its going to be a real challenge to reach wave 50 (especially if im in the team) Smiley.
